The concept of the new architecture for one of the largest supermarket chains in Azerbaijan.
The managing company Rahat approached the One to One bureau with a request to develop a new architectural concept as part of the company’s comprehensive rebranding.
The new design for Rahat aims to be modern, striking, creative, and technological, setting it apart from standard shops and malls in every aspect – from structural elements to interior design, including facades and the surrounding landscape. A specific task was outlined for the refinement of facade and landscape lighting. The supermarket’s location allows for excellent visibility from the city’s main road, and the new architecture should serve as its ornament and landmark.
The supermarket’s premises include two outdoor terraces for McDonald’s and KFC restaurants, a parking area for visitors and service vehicles, as well as a small landscaped park.
The One to One team developed 5 architectural designs, with two of them advancing to the final discussion.
Architecture Concept 1: The building’s footprint is 5000 m², and the green space covers 2100 m². It incorporates the use of dark wood species, large panoramic windows supported by columns reminiscent of tree branches.
